    @northlander30 yes, i know. 2002 is in bad shape but exists. All boarded up and covered in graffiti. But the northlander is in much worse shape. Both are in my new video.

    @B52Stratofortress1 It is still there? It was supposed to be gone to the junk pile last year. See this is what railfanning the ONR once a year does to you. You believe all the talk you hear! Interesting! I hadn’t realized 2002 was still around, I thought it too went to the bone yard with 2000 and 2001

  5. B52Stratofortress1 says:

    @northlander30 the northlander is still at oak st

  6. B52Stratofortress1 says:

    @northlander30 FP7au 2002 still exists.

    A follow up on ONR FP7 1986 nee 1501, it too has now been scrapped!

    Nice ride, but the ruffest riding coaches I ever road in. I had trouble drinking my beer, and could only pour a 1/2 glass at a time. Thanks for watching. Jack

    I’ve taken that train so many times from Cochrane to Toronto.

    i dont get it wat is the point

  12. ONRrailfan says:

    2002 is still in existance she is sitting in the OVR yards in North Bay

  13. northlander30 says:

    I just learned that the last surviving Northlander TEE set with 1501 was also scrapped this summer. So there are no surviving FP7’s on the ONR’s roster today. The last remaining FP7au (cat powered) was donated to the city of North Bay for static display purposes and will reside where the Northlander was just removed from at the old CP station on Oak St.

  14. Tom8201 says:

    What about 2000? Shame they scrapped the F’s instead of donating them to museums.

  15. northlander30 says:

    Hey Jack great vid! The ONR owns or owned 22 FP7a. The only F7’s rostered are the ex Milwaukee Road F7 b units. The majority of the b units were converted in the ONR shops in North Bay to axillary power units or (apu) or as some like to call them electrical generator units or egu lol. There are no surviving FP7’s left. 3 were converted to cat power and renumbered 2000-2002. 2001 and 2002 were sold to scrap last spring. The only remaining FP7 is Northlander 1986 (1501 originally)
