noob. Yzerman Gretzky and Lindros didn’t even play in the 2005 WHC… Gretzky retired in 1999 BTW.

The Czech Republic have won the world championships and beaten Canada (hahahaha), Sweden, Finland and Russia. Now, if im not mistaken, thats all of the teams above them in the official world rankings, it wasnt luck, it was pure heart, passion and skill. Czechs are the champions! Canada loose!

@ironyincognito How many players from NHL played for other teams? Did you watch rosters for this Championship? Czechs have only four players from NHL in their team and many young players from Czech and other EU leagues. Canada and Russia have almost all players from NHL. If the NHL is the best league in the World, Canada should be in top two on this Championship, am I right? But instead of that we have to listen Canadians whining that they didn’t send their best. You’ll be surprised, nobody did.
